All intelligent driving systems are required to obtain a mapping qualification before they can operate on public roads in China

Tesla is moving closer to introducing its driver assistance system, which Tesla calls Full Self-Driving (FSD) in China, its largest overseas market, following a surprise visit by founder Elon Musk and a deal with Chinese tech giant Baidu to use its mapping and navigation functions, as reported by Nikkei Asia on April 29.
