Nvidia GTC 2024: Accelerating automotive innovation through AI
Nvidia’s strong presence in the automotive market, particularly in autonomous driving and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), reinforces its position as one of the key enablers of future mobility trends. In Q4 FY2024, automotive revenue reached $281 million, up 8% sequentially but down 4% year over year. For the fiscal year, revenue hit $1.09 billion, marking a 21% increase and surpassing the $1 billion milestone for the first time, driven by continued adoption of the Nvidia DRIVE platform by automakers.
Nvidia’s GPU Technology Conference (GTC) 2024 took place March 18–21, 2024, at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, California. GTC serves as a platform for developers, researchers, engineers, and innovators to explore the latest advancements in GPU technology and its applications across various industries such as AI, autonomous vehicles and more. The conference featured keynote presentations, technical sessions, hands-on workshops and demonstrations all aimed at fostering collaboration and driving innovation in the field of GPU computing. Representing S&P Global Mobility, Owen Chen, senior principal analyst, participated in the event onsite and engaged in an industry analyst Q&A session with Nvidia CEO, Jensen Huang.
