Hyundai Motor signs MOU with Exide Energy to localize production of LFP batteries in India
The strategic cooperation marks the beginning of efforts to expand exclusive battery development, production, supply and partnerships in the Indian market
South Korean carmaker Hyundai Motor Co., along with its sister company Kia Corp., has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Exide Energy Solutions Ltd., a leading Indian battery company, to focus on the localization of electric vehicle batteries in India, Hyundai said in a statement on April 8.
