DiDi Autonomous Driving's JV with GAC Aion to mass-produce crossover SUV robo-taxi in 2025
Once completed, the model is expected to be integrated into DiDi's shared mobility network for large-scale mixed dispatching
DiDi Autonomous Driving, the self-driving technology arm of DiDi Global (DiDi), announced that Andi Technology (Andi), the equal joint venture with GAC Aion New Energy Automobile (GAC Aion), has obtained its business license, representing the first registered JV in China for the mass production of fully self-driving electric robo-taxi between a Level 4 autonomous driving company and an automobile company, according to a press release on April 7.
