Chinese carmaker Chery plans to set up $800 million EV factory in Vietnam

Chery, a leading carmaker from Mainland China, plans to build an $800 million EV plant in Vietnam, becoming the first Chinese EV maker to set up a facility in the country, according to a news report published by Nikkei Asia on April 4.
