The two companies have agreed to recycle byproducts through Cyclic Materials proprietary magnet recycling processes in North America
Canada-based Cyclic Materials, a BMW-backed advanced metals recycling company, has signed an agreement with Vacuumschmelze (VAC), a leading developer of magnetic materials based in Germany, to build a circular supply chain for rare earth elements, with a focus on recycling the byproducts containing critical materials used in high-performance permanent magnets, the company announced March 18.
