GM’s AI-ming high with new connected strategies
GM seeks to leverage Google’s AI and cloud capabilities in multiple ways: enhance OnStar services such as emergency response and insurance; optimize the Ultium electric vehicle and Ultifi software platforms; expand connected services with personalized in-car experiences and intelligent navigation; and improve customer engagement through AI-enhanced support and feedback analysis.
For the automotive industry, the impact of AI-driven technologies has been transformational to say the least. Automakers are harnessing AI and ML for just about every facet of their operations, from vehicle manufacturing to sales and even aftersales — to reduce costs, optimize products, improve efficiency, expedite development cycles and create a more sustainable ecosystem.
