Audi has announced an enhancement to its Q2 models, which will now come standard with a comprehensive technology upgrade of its infotainment system. The new system includes a high-resolution 8.8-inch multimedia interface (MMI) touch display, the Audi virtual cockpit with a 12.3-inch instrument display and the three-spoke multifunction steering wheel.
Additionally, safety features such as traffic-sign recognition, lane-departure warning and rear-park assist have been added to the standard equipment. The Audi virtual cockpit is now available in two basic display layouts, and customers can also opt for Audi's new theme worlds. The MMI touch display is now 8.8 inches in size and can be controlled via touch or voice command.
The standard equipment includes the MMI Radio, which features a DAB tuner, two data-capable USB-C ports, emergency call functions and several Audi Connect services. The MMI Navigation preparation package includes the Audi smartphone interface, navigation services with high-resolution satellite maps and additional online services.
The upgraded Q2 models will be launched in the first half of 2024, with prices starting at €28,600 in Germany.
