With recent events such as the COVID-19 pandemic and rising air pollution levels in many cities around the world, an increasing number of automakers will be looking to deploy advanced antibacterial and antimicrobial air-conditioning systems in their vehicles.
According to the World Health Organization, 99% of the global population lives in places where air pollution levels exceed WHO guidelines. Due to increased air pollution and events like the COVID-19 pandemic, automakers are now more focused on offering in-cabin air that is free of contaminants, viruses and germs.
