Indian auto-component maker Rane Madras to build a new plant in Mexico

The new facility will address the large and growing market for inner and outer ball joints in the North American market

Auto component supplier Rane (Madras), a major manufacturer of steering and suspension products, and light metal casting components, said in a regulatory filing that it has floated a wholly owned subsidiary called Rane Automotive Components Mexico (RACM) in Aguascalientes, Mexico, in which it will invest $3 million-$6 million over the next 12–18 months, The Hindu reported Jan. 25.
