Kia completes retooling of its Gwangmyeong car factory in South Korea to roll out EVs
Once operational, the retooled factory is expected to manufacture new battery-powered cars including the small-sized SUV EV3 and midsized sedan EV4
Kia Corp. has completed the retooling process at its Gwangmyeong factory in South Korea to resume production operations in February, after an eight-month refurbishment to prepare the plant for electric vehicle production, according to a news report published by The Korea Herald on Jan. 23.
