STMicroelectronics' Silicon Carbide MOSFET tech powers efficient e-compressor controllers for new-energy vehicles
ZINSIGHT and STMicroelectronics collaborate to develop SiC-based e-compressor controllers for NEVs
In a press release announcement on Jan. 18, STMicroelectronics, a global semiconductor leader, has announced that its third-generation Silicon Carbide (SiC) metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSFET) technology will be used in e-compressor controllers from Zinsight Technology, a Chinese high-tech company focusing on SiC power modules and advanced electric power conversion systems, for new-energy vehicles (NEVs).
