As part of the partnership between the companies, Kia aims to produce PBVs optimized for drivers and fleets

South Korean carmaker Kia Corp. and Uber have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to collaborate on development and deployment of Kia’s planned Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) concepts on Uber’s ride-hailing platform, Kia announced Jan. 10.
