Scientist at Swinburne University of Technology develops new processor to advance AI, driverless vehicles
The technology leverages a photonic signal processor based on a Kerr microcomb for real-time video image processing
According to a paper published in Communications Engineering on Dec. 20, 2023, a team of international scientists led by Professor David Moss from Swinburne University of Technology in Australia has developed an ultrahigh-speed signal processor that can analyze 400,000 real-time video images simultaneously.
