Automotive seats are becoming more complex as automakers intensify focus on improving safety, comfort, and wellbeing of drivers and other passengers inside their vehicle. A modern seat in a vehicle, depending upon its price positioning, can easily have more than 100 components. This number is set to rise further as seat manufacturers add more functions and features in seats for the next-generation connected, automated electric vehicles (EVs).
