The automaker reduces hiring through agencies in Guangzhou, follows regulations, provides compensation

Japanese automaker Honda Motor has announced plans to cut approximately 900 jobs at its joint venture in China, GAC Honda Automobile, due to declining sales in the country. The layoffs represent around 7% of the venture's workforce of around 13,000 employees, NikkeiAsia reported on December 2.
