General Motors Ventures and Stellantis Ventures lead new investments in Niron Magnetics

Niron Magnetics, the company known for pioneering the world’s first high-performance, rare-earth-free permanent magnets, announced Nov. 8 that it has raised $33 million in additional funding, with new investments coming from General Motors Ventures and Stellantis Ventures as well as some previous local investors, Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community (SMSC) and the University of Minnesota (UMN), among others.
