Idemitsu Kosan, Toyota to partner on developing mass production technology of solid electrolytes
Toyota and Idemitsu aim to ensure successful commercialization of all-solid-state batteries in 2027–28, followed by full-scale mass production
Idemitsu Kosan Co. Ltd. and Toyota Motor Corp. have entered into an agreement to jointly work on developing mass production technology of solid electrolytes, improving productivity and establishment of a supply chain, the two companies said in a joint announcement on October 12.
