Gestamp partners with Tata Steel to increase recycled steel to slash carbon footprint
The collaboration aims to bring down the carbon footprint of the automotive supply chain
Tata Steel, the largest steelmaker in the UK, and tier 1 automotive supplier Gestamp have signed an agreement to increase the percentage of recycled steel in the components they supply to the automotive sector, a company press release said October 10.
