Where is demand for fuel cell thermal components headed?
As per the S&P Global Mobility forecast, by 2030, North America and Greater China are expected to emerge as growth markets for fuel cell thermal components.
According to the current market trends, battery electric vehicles (BEVs) seem to be the preferred technology for zero-emission light passenger vehicles. However, for commercial vehicles (light, medium and heavy) and large passenger vehicles such as buses, battery electric propulsion as a solution may not be an optimal choice due to the need of a large battery, increased driving range and reduced charging time. For such vehicle types, fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) emerge as a viable choice due to their ability to provide a long driving range and quick refueling.
