German luxury-auto makers Porsche and Audi have issued a voluntary recall for several all-electric vehicles sold in the US, anticipating that the factory may have applied insufficiently robust sealant on the high-voltage battery, which can lead to liquid intrusion, increasing the risk of a thermal event, InsideEVs reported September 12.
