Ford and Volkswagen invested a combined $3.6 billion in the startup and closed it last year
According to a report published by Express Mobility on September 8, the former leaders of Ford Motor Co. and Volkswagen AG's self-driving division are embarking on a new venture in autonomous trucking, buoyed by over $1 billion in funding from Japan's SoftBank Group Corp.
