Volkswagen halts production at Portugal plant due to parts shortage
The assembly plant near Lisbon mainly produces the T-Roc compact crossover SUVs
A Reuters report dated August 31 said that German automaker Volkswagen's Autoeuropa factory in Portugal will suspend production between September 11–November 12, due to a shortage of auto parts from a Slovenian supplier affected by recent floods in the country, quoting the workers' commission.
