According to a report published by the CNBC on September 2, autonomous vehicle giant Cruise is contesting claims made by the San Francisco Fire Department (SFFD) regarding an incident on August 14, in which the SFFD alleged that Cruise's driverless vehicles hindered ambulance response times, contributing to a tragic pedestrian fatality.
