California Department of Motor Vehicles probes crash involving General Motors’ Cruise robo-taxis

The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) said that it is investigating "recent concerning incidents" involving autonomous vehicles operated by General Motors' unit Cruise in San Francisco, and asked the company to take half its robo-taxis off the roads, according to a report published by Reuters on August 21.
