California Department of Motor Vehicles probes crash involving General Motors’ Cruise robo-taxis
The CPUC last week voted to allow robo-taxis from Cruise and Alphabet's Waymo to operate at all hours of the day throughout San Francisco
The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) said that it is investigating "recent concerning incidents" involving autonomous vehicles operated by General Motors' unit Cruise in San Francisco, and asked the company to take half its robo-taxis off the roads, according to a report published by Reuters on August 21.
