SK Nexilis, Toyota Tsusho to set up a JV company to produce copper foil for EV batteries in the US
The two companies plan to jointly invest in setting up a battery-component manufacturing plant in the US
SK Nexilis, a subsidiary of South Korean conglomerate SK Group, has teamed up with Japan’s Toyota Tsusho Corp. to set up a joint venture to produce copper foil for electric vehicle batteries in North America, according to a news report published by The Korea Herald newspaper on July 31.
