Suzuki makes changes in Indian auto manufacturing structure
The automaker aims to boost competitiveness through operational efficiency
Japanese original equipment manufacturer, Suzuki Motor Corp. (Suzuki), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (MSIL) and Suzuki Motor Gujarat Pvt. Ltd. (SMG) have each approved at their board meeting held July 31, that SMG, a wholly owned subsidiary of Suzuki, will become a subsidiary of MSIL, the company announced in a press release July 31.
