Volkswagen to get access to XPeng’s G9 platform, connectivity and ADAS software capabilities
VW plans to leverage XPeng’s core competencies and jointly develop two B-class BEV models for sale in China
As part of the strategic technical collaboration between Europe’s largest carmaker Volkswagen and Chinese electric-vehicle maker Xpeng, the former is slated to get access to the latter’s G9 platform, connectivity and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) software capabilities, according to a press note issued by XPeng on July 26.
