Seven leading global carmakers — BMW Group, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes-Benz Group and Stellantis NV — plan to establish an electric vehicle charging joint venture with an aim of accelerating the transition to EVs in North America, the companies said in a joint announcement July 26.
