ZF invests in airbag-production base and research and development center in China
The company plans to invest €150 million, which will create 1,200 jobs in the 67,000-square-meter facility
ZF Group signed an agreement with the Wuhan Economic Development Zone (WEDZ), in central China’s Hubei province, where ZF will invest in an automotive airbag production and research and development (R&D) center, setting up the ZF Wuhan Automotive Safety Systems (Wuhan) Co. Ltd. with a peak annual output expected to reach 3 billion yuan (about $417 million), the company said in a press release dated July 21.
