Nissan plans to invest $725 million in Renault's EV unit – report
Both partners expect the EV unit Ampere's enterprise value will be between €8 billion and €10 billion
Nissan Motor is likely to invest around ¥100 billion (about $725 million) in Renault's new electric vehicle unit, according to a Reuters report dated July 14, quoting Japanese newspaper the Yomiuri Shimbun, potentially clearing a hurdle in drawn-out talks to reshape their automaking alliance.
