Data demand for today’s connected vehicles are increasing ever more. Sometimes it is not just the connectivity requirements that are to blame. Infotainment and the demand for (or supply of) enhanced human-machine interface (HMI) experiences — such as Nio’s virtual avatar or augmented reality satellite navigation — are behind the increase.
