As per the new mandate, EV charging providers will have to offer the NACS in addition to the CCS, which is already a federal requirement, to EV drivers across the state

US state Kentucky has made it mandatory for electric vehicle charging companies to include Tesla’s North American Charging Standard (NACS) connector into their EV chargers if they want to be eligible for the state subsidies meant for expansion of EV charging networks, according to a news report published by Reuters on July 4.
