CATL plans to set up battery recycling plants in Europe, North America
CATL had started its recycling business in China by launching a subsidiary company called Brunp Recycling Technology in October 2021
China’s largest battery-maker Contemporary Amperex Technology Ltd. (CATL) is in talks with a European partner for setting up a battery recycling facility in Europe ahead of its plans to establish a base in North America, according to a news report published by Yicai Global on June 29.
