Shortage of raw materials, higher tariff and delay in shipment could disrupt LED supply chain could even impact production schedules at vehicle manufacturers
LEDs are fast replacing halogen bulbs as the most preferred source for almost all lighting and signaling devices in vehicles. The rising popularity of LED also eclipsed the growth prospects of xenon bulbs, which was once seen as a strong contender of halogen bulbs. However, unlike LED and halogen bulbs, xenon can be used in only a few lighting systems, such as headlights and fog lights.
