GlobalFoundries and STMicroelectronics announce a new 300 mm semiconductor manufacturing plant in France
The plant is likely to get an overall investment of €7.5 billion for capital expenditure, maintenance and ancillary costs
GlobalFoundries, a leading player in semiconductor manufacturing, and STMicroelectronics, a global semiconductor leader, on June 5 announced the conclusion of the agreement to build a semiconductor manufacturing facility in Crolles, France, which was announced July 11, 2022.
