Amid the accelerating transition to 100% ZEVs, eBeam axles provide an easy solution to convert ICE-based pickups to electric pickups.
As the world races toward achieving a faster transition to 100% zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs), a key challenge associated with the electrification of light- and medium-duty pickups is achieving the same level of payload-carrying and towing capacity as its internal combustion engine (ICE) counterparts. The eBeam axles, comprising an integrated motor, inverter and gearbox on a rigid axle, can be directly fitted on an ICE pickup without the need to redesign any associated parts. eBeam axles are touted as a quick, easy solution to electrify existing ICE pickups (existing platforms).
