Hyundai Group and LGES will each hold a 50% stake in the planned battery cell JV, which will involve an investment of over $4.3 billion

Hyundai Motor Group and EV battery manufacturer LG Energy Solution (LGES) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish a battery cell manufacturing joint venture in the US, the two companies said in a joint announcement on May 26.
