Zoox employs musician to craft sound of autonomous vehicle
The goal is for travelers to unwind while staying concerned about their safety and security in the era of driverless ride-hailing services
According to a report from Wired on April 3, Zoox recruited formally trained musician Jeremy Yang to create a new sound configuration for its robo-taxis, which will combine a soothing soundscape with insistent beeps and boops to persuade users to strap up or completely shut an open door.
