Volkswagen halts EU battery plants, awaits EU response to IRA
The company said it is committed to building cell factories for approximately 240GWh in Europe by 2030
Volkswagen is waiting to hear what the European Union's response to the US Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) will be before progressing with plans to build further battery plants in the EU, according to Reuters on 8 March.
