Stellantis acquires equity stake in Argentinean copper mine
The investment will contribute to the carmaker’s plan to become carbon net zero by 2038
Stellantis is investing USD155 million to acquire a 14.2% equity stake in McEwen Copper, a subsidiary of Canadian mining company McEwen Mining, which owns the Los Azules project in Argentina and the Elder Creek project in Nevada, US, the carmaker said in a press release dated 27 February.
