More than 1.8 million MY 2011 through 2019 Explorer SUVs are under probe

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) have opened a safety probe into Ford Explorer sport utility vehicles (SUVs) over reports of windshield trim panels detaching while driving at highway speeds, Reuters reported on 31 January.
