BMW, Solid Power deepen partnership to advance all-solid-state battery cell design
Prior to the installation of the battery cell prototype line at the carmaker’s Munich-based R&D facility, the BMW Group’s personnel will work jointly with Solid Power to optimize cell manufacturing processes
German luxury carmaker BMW Group and US-based battery technology company Solid Power have deepened their partnership with a new joint development agreement to further advance the all-solid-state battery cell design and manufacturing know-how, BMW said on 20 January 2023.
