WeRide secures license to trial Level 4 autonomous shuttle in Beijing, China
The license allows WeRide's autonomous shuttle vehicles to operate on public roads inside a 60-square-kilometer region
A China-based autonomous driving startup WeRide has announced that its Level 4 driverless electric shuttle officially obtained an autonomous driving road test license from the Office of Beijing High-level Automated Driving Demonstration Area, according to WeRide's WeChat platform press release on 18 January 2023.
