The Japanese government plans to set up 150,000 EV charging stations across the country by 2030

The Japanese government plans to relax regulations on the installation of fast-charging electric vehicle (EV) stations with an aim to support the country’s EV charging infrastructure, according to a news report published by the news agency Nikkei Asia on 4 January 2023.
