Baidu expands fully driverless robo-taxi service in Wuhan, mainland China
Baidu is the only company in mainland China offering fully autonomous, commercial robo-taxi services in the evening
Baidu has announced a major expansion of its commercialized fully driverless robo-taxi service in Wuhan, Hubei Province, according to a report published by Pandaily on 26 December 2022. The move triples the size of its operation areas, increases the number of robo-taxis in service and expands the system's operation hours to include key evening hours.
