Honda to purchase 123GWh of EV batteries from CATL in China
Honda plans to purchase 123GWh of EV batteries, produced in Yichun, east China’s Jiangxi province, from CATL between 2024–30
China’s largest battery maker Contemporary Amperex Technology Company Limited (CATL) will supply 123 GWh of EV batteries to Honda Motor (China) Investment Company Ltd. between 2024 to 2030, the two companies said in a joint announcement on 8 December 2022.
