Asahi Kasei starts supplying bio-based synthetic rubber for tire applications
The sustainable S-SBR will be applied in the manufacturing of eco-friendly tires.
Japanese chemical company Asahi Kasei announced via press release on 17 November that it had commenced sales of its Tufdene™ S-SBR (solution-polymerized styrene-butadiene rubber) and Asadene™ BR (butadiene rubber) compounds.
