European Commission proposes implementation of Euro 7 standards for cars from July 2025
In 2035, Euro 7 will be able to lower NOx emissions from cars and vans by 35% compared to Euro 6, and by 56% compared to Euro VI from buses and lorries
The European Commission has presented a proposal to implement Euro 7 emission norms for new cars and vans from 1 July 2025 and new heavy-duty vehicles such as lorries, trucks and buses from 1 July 2027, according to a media note released by the Commission on 10 November 2022.
