Solvay, Orbia to set up USD850 million battery binder material facility in the US
The PVDF facility, located in the southeastern United States, will be fully operational by 2026
Belgian chemical company Solvay announced via press release on 3 November that it will be partnering with American utilities company Orbia to set up a suspension-grade polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) manufacturing joint venture (JV) in North America.
